All Star Week

You’ve already gathered from my earlier entries that players enjoy PokerStars marketing codes because the site has great traffic and unique promos. If you’re new to the various promotions, you should look into the PokerStars All Star Week, scheduled for July 26th to August 1st. The upcoming week will see 35 heads-up matches between Team PokerStars Pro and a team of Challengers that must qualify via satellites. Are you intrigued enough to use those bingo codes another time? If the answer is no, read on and perhaps it will cause a change of heart.

PokerStars is proving they’re one of the top Texas Hold'em sites on the Internet by offering a $25,000 prize pool. There will be five different heads-up matches per day during All Star Week. The winner of each match will receive $1,000 and a win for their team. At the end of it all, if Team PokerStars Pro has won more games, they will split the $25k prize pool. If the Challengers have won more matches, they will split the prize pool instead.

Daniels Room poker might have fewer participants during All Star Week. You must participate in freerolls to win a spot on the team. In order to be invited to one of these freerolls, you must have final tabled a major PokerStars tournament in 2009 or you must have Supernova Elite status. To make it a little more fun, each qualifier will also be offered a ticket to the WCOOP worth $1,050. The World Championship of Online Poker will probably occur September of this year. If you’re a fan of deposit bonuses, take note that there is a good chance that they will have a new PokerStars bonus code at the start of the events.

If you don’t qualify for any of the freerolls, you can try the Wildcard satellite. You’ll need to pay an entry fee to participate, but it will be worth it. The players that finish in the first three spots will earn their spot as a Challenger and, of course, get that WCOOP ticket.

Once you’ve qualified for the Challenger team, you then need to earn the chance to play one of the heads-up matches. You’ll need to win versus your fellow team members in these matches to qualify to meet a PokerStars Team Pro in the same game the week after. Members of the Challenger team also go up against each other for the MVP award for the week by collecting as many points as possible. Challengers earn a point for competing in a qualification event, three points for winning one of these tournaments, and then five points for winning a heads-up match during the big week. If you’re comfortable getting dealt lots of hands on money poker sites, it should be easy to play as many tournaments as possible to earn tons of points.

There will be heads-up matches for all types of poker available, so All Star Week should appeal to everyone that enjoys cards in US poker rooms. Also keep in mind that if you didn’t qualify to play on the Challenger team this time around, there’s always next year. To ensure your spot in the freerolls, you might have to pass less time in Amex Compatible Casinos and more time entering large tournaments. Best of luck!
